Westlake Village, CA - April 7, 2023
This is a free, private event hosted by foundation board members, Naca (Chief) Rudy Escamilla Ten Fingers, Holy Man, and Tommy Gunn Ten Fingers, Medicine Man, sponsored by Puremedy Inc. president and founder, Joan Siegel.
Attendees will be led in an equine healing ceremony and sweat lodge beginning at 10:00 AM PST on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 on private, Tehachapi land in Bakersfield, CA. RSVPs and requests for more information can be made at info@indigenousmedicine.com.
The intention of this event is to raise awareness for the foundation’s current infrastructure project: Ceremony House and Healing Center on the Pine Ridge Reservation in Hisle, South Dakota near Badlands National Park.
“When I began Puremedy in 2005, I wanted to give back to the source of a medicine that has been a part of my family for hundreds of years by supporting the work of Medicine People as we build a bridge between Indigenous and Non-Indigenous communities in the United States and around the world,” says Joan Siegel.
About The Foundation for Indigenous Medicine:
